The Fixture Motion Semi-Automatic Wire Wrap Machine is designed to make wire
wrapping test fixtures and printed circuit boards easier and faster.
It is designed to accept a fixture or PC board
in many different forms, and can accept any size fixture or PC board up to 33 inches
by 31 inches, including the "Hewlett Packard Double Wide" test fixture.
How it works...
Using our FixtureWare™ Operating Software the operator
is able to import these data formats: ASCII Text, Genrad NAR, Hewlett
Packard wires, Teradyne Momentum, and WireProQC Sequence Files.
The ASCII import allows files in almost any format to be imported into FixtureWare™
software. The operator is given a graphic representation of the fixture or PC board
to be wired on his or her computer monitor, The operator is also supplied with the
physical X, Y location of the pin to be wired by the "Gun Holder" on the wire wrap
machine. For more information on the operation of our software please go to the
FixtureWare™ Operating Software page. The Translator Plate of the
fixture to be wired is typically mounted on the left side of the Wire Wrap Machine
with the wire wrap posts of the probe sockets facing toward the operator. The Probe
Plate is typically mounted on the right side with the wire wrap posts also facing
the operator. Physically locating the Translator Plate and the Probe Plate is made
easy using our vertically adjustable cross bars and our fixture holding blocks.
